said that Pakistan could become one of the largest suppliers in the
world due to its good quality footwear and low cost of production.
According to the report of Asia, Pakistan produces more than one

industry can become more productive and profitable. Pakistan is the
seventh largest shoe maker in the world but it has not significantly
increased its share in the global market.
= Pakistan needs to come up with a long-term plan
To increase its share, Pakistan needs to come up with a long-term
plan, which includes promoting ancillary industries such as the
leather industry. Similarly, promoting foreign direct investment, joint

footwear industry in national and international markets.
