New Delhi (JTN) Many countries returned Indian tea

International and domestic buyers have returned Indian tea due to

excessive presence of pesticides and chemicals.

According to Press Trust of India This was stated by Inshuman

Kanuria, Chairman, Indian Tea Exporters Association (ITEA). The

board is considering increasing exports. However, the rejection of

Indian tea is leading to a decline in exports.

According to PTI, Inshuman Kanuria said that all tea sold in the

country should be in compliance with the principles of Food Safety

and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). However, most of the

buyers who are buying tea in the country contain more than the

prescribed amount of chemicals.

Earlier, it was reported that Turkey has returned more than 56,000

tonnes of wheat due to suspected presence of rubella virus in wheat.

According to media reports, Turkey had purchased 56,877 tonnes of

wheat from India and shipped the ship Arrived off the coast of

Turkey but the authorities there refused to allow Indian wheat into

the country.

Turkish officials have expressed concern about the presence of

rubella virus in Indian wheat. Turkish Agriculture and Health

Department officials have justified the presence of the virus in

wheat, sending the whole wheat back to India, saying that duringthe

Corona epidemic. They can’t take any more risks.
