Peshawar (I.R.Khan) International Conference on Human Rights
A one-day International Conference on “Human Rights and Islam”
was organized by Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center,(S.Z.I.C ) University of
Peshawar. A large number of teachers, students participated in the
conference.
=A comprehensive report on S.Z.I Center was presented
Dr. Rashid Ahmed, Director, Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center, Turkey and
England, addressed the gathering and welcomed the local and
foreign professors and conference participants, and presented a
comprehensive report on the Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center.
=Graduates of S.Z.I.C prove they are capable & good citizens
Highlighting the academic programs, he said that the graduates of
Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center prove that they are capable and good
citizens in any field of life and they understand human rights well
because they are well versed in language and science. At the same
time, religious sciences are also introduced. Speakers include Prof.
Dr. Dogan Kaplan of Erbakan University from Turkey, Assistant
Professor Dr. Khlod Al Ajrama of University of Edinburgh, Dr.
Muhammad Iqbal, NUML, Prof. Dr. Arshad Munir Leghari, Ghazi
University Dera Ghazi Khan, and Prof. Dr. Syed Naeem Bukhari
Chairman Department of Islamic Studies. Agricultural University
Peshawar remained involved.
