Pakistan’s GDP has been growing steadily over the past few years, but its volume will decline in FY2019, according to the I-Global Economy Index. In the last three years, it has declined. In 2015-16, the volume of GDP was Rs 30,508 billion, which increased to Rs 31,914 billion in the financial year 2016-17, while in the financial year 2017-18. The size of GDP reached Rs. 33859.60 billion. According to the data released by the Statistics Agency, the volume of GDP in the financial year 2018-19 had reached Rs. 34916 billion which is Rs. In 2019, the volume has come down to Rs 34588.70 billion. In the financial year 21-2020, the volume of GDP has reached 36572 billion 60 crore while the current financial year, the volume of GDP is expected to be Rs 38755 billion.

=The country’s GDP expected to reach 2 282 billion in 2022

Economists say the Corona epidemic was the reason for the decline in GDP in 2019-20. According to Global Economy, Pakistan’s GDP in 2015 was 0 270.60 billion, which increased to 8 278.7 billion in 2016. ۔ Similarly, in 2017, the volume of Pakistan’s GDP reached 304 billion dollars, while in 2018 it increased to 314 billion 600 million dollars, but in 2019 and 2020, it began to decline due to the US dollar against the Pakistani rupee. The value of GDP has increased from 35 35.50 billion in 2019 to 9 279.10 billion and further decreased to 2 262.60 billion in 2020. Similarly, from the year 2021, Pakistan’s GDP growth has resumed and reached 6 276 billion, with the country’s GDP expected to reach 2 282 billion in 2022.
